      We are now facing advance technologies, gadgets and very highly technologized living. Nowadays we can not synchronize with others because of having technologies of every individuals is not new to us. We cannot live without the aid of these modern technologies.
     ICT or Information and Communication Technology is very important to every individuals, many lives changes, many lives upgraded and many things were known. Many helped was given by ICT, because of this many lives are attached with someone and many communicated whole over the world. This is a way to be socially fit with someone. ICT makes someone feel freedom on what they are saying. Because of those technologies that are rapidly raising and upgrading the advancement of communicating to someone made easier and make feels that someone they are communicating outside the range that they are within side. This is the soul of people who are can really express their feelings and so with technologies.

Kannawidan: Ylocos Festival

The 2012 Kannawidan Ylocos Festival opened with a concelebrated mass held at the St. Paul Metropolitan Cathedral followed by a procession of the patron saints of the 40 parishes including the images of Jesus Christ and Virgin Mary around the province’s capital city in the afternoon of on January 29.

“Through our Kannawidan Ylocos Festival, which is the official annual festival of the province our tourism industry was enhanced and helped boost the demand of our products, more job opportunities and livelihood opportunities were crated and more income for our people were generated,” he added.

Reverend Father Roque Reyes, who officiated the mass, said that the mass and the procession were the acts of thanksgiving to the God almighty for the blessings received by the province and the exhibition of the strong religious belief of the Ilocano families.

After the procession, a dinner for all was enjoined to all bystanders, tourists and visitors at Plaza Salcedo followed by fireworks display to signify the formal start of the different events of the weeklong festival.

On same night, the members of the Bayanihan Dance Company entertained the Ilocanos with their world class performance of the Beauty of the Philippines through dances, music and sounds. Their graceful movements and excellent rendition of songs and playing the indigenous musical instruments drew attractions from the crowd.

On the following day, a traditional opening ritual was performed by the students of the Ilocos Sur Special High School for Culture and the Arts in Suyo, Ilocos Sur. Vice Governor Savellano and the officials of the Department of Education Division of Ilocos Sur signified the start of the different contests for elementary and high school students. These include traditional tribal rituals, choir and glee club competition, marching band contest, traditional music ensemble, dance drama, traditional and folk dances, contemporary dance competition and street dancing showdown. These events aimed to encourage young Ilocanos to learn these indigenous songs and dances for sustainability and preservation.

Partuat ken Patanor Trade and Agri Fair also opened on the same day. Officials from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) headed by Thelma Dumpit Murillo graced the occasion.

The trade and agri fair displayed all products from the different towns of the Ilocos Sur and its nearby provinces. The annual “Pinaka Contest” was also held to give citations the local farmers’ extraordinary farm and fishery products and livestock.

A Day after Today!

                Initiating my future is going faster and faster, synchronizing with modern technologies and advance practice of life. They say that we the current youth or youngsters of this generation is the owner of modern world, we are responsible for a better future.

                Big question floating on my mind on how can I start to build my future? When and where?

                Every time I stood up on my bed every morning I always wondering the best future a man can have. Going to school makes my mind on how to make good decisions in life. What would be my standing after 10 to 15 years? I am seeing my own world after so many years successful and reach all my aspirations in life.

                Simple ambitions I am beholding and building, like be the best Engineer and made projects that highly appreciated by the society, having a family that could love me even eternity comes and also living friends and parents besides me to give me smiles on my lips whenever disappointments occur.

I believe nothing is impossible, nothing is difficult even beyond imagination when you start to reach you goals today.

Reflection!!

My high school career is nearer to end, but the memories we gathered with each other will last forever. Sad to say that we are leaving our Alma Mater for the next few months and another chapter of our lives will come along and it is more harder, our college life. High school life is the best studying time than elementary and college because we are collecting new friends in the high school life.

                But as we go through the saddest part of this post, let me recall the things that shaped me into better person this third grading period. Winning competitions like speech choir is one way of enhancing my shy type with someone or to a crowd. Many things I’ve learned in this grading period like respect others and listen to the one who leads and more importantly how to control myself and have discipline.

                I promised to myself, to make better changes on my attitudes. Hope it will work. . . 

Kapatang nak ti Iloco!

Over 300 sq. km of the area of the Philippines, many islands occupying the country and so many dialects are being use every day of our lives by communicating to someone.

Iloco dialect is much known on the North of Philippines; usually using this dialect is the Ilocanos. Ilocanos is very reach in many things but the most important is the dialect we are using. Many had tried to use Iloco but only some can pronounce it clearly with nice accent and proper intonation, this is only signifying that Iloco dialect is very unique.

2012! New Me. . . .

New Year, my favorite holiday, is one of the most celebrated days in the world. The day is shaped by different customs and traditions. Each culture celebrates this holiday in its own unique way. Bantay, Ilcos Sur which is my birthplace and a memorable place. This is a place where all my childhood memories came from. The city has its own way to celebrate New Year.

         The people start to prepare for the holiday at least one month in an advance. The preparation begins by buying presents, decorating houses, and making new costumes. Obviously the holiday would not be complete without a symbol of New Year which transcended from generation to generation, the New Year tree, the unique tree having million small needles and staying green throughout the year.

        New Year, which is one of the exciting things for children and adults, is the object that you can see in every house during the holiday. The whole family takes participation in decorating a tree, with toys, candies and different New Year’s lights. 

Christmas is LOVE!

                        Breezes of air are running everyone’s home signifying the very special day of the year the birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ telling to give honor and always remember Him. Its normal seeing children going house-to-house, singing a joyful songs and asking for a little amount of money, even the temperature is low they do this to give happiness.

            A very common doings of every home is to gather themselves completely having shared a very special moment with each other. Gift giving is another highlight of Christmas because signifying a good-hearted to share their blessings to others. But the most important to think during Christmas not the gifts, noche Buena or even the vacation to have relaxation yet it is the love of people to others and most especially love to Jesus and remember Him in this occasion. Love I think is the best gift to receive by a man.

            True essence of Christmas is to Love others, take good care of them, share and more. These is the way to commit happiness and enjoy this every year’s occasion.

     We are born in different statue in life, we are all having differences with each other and we are not perfectly match as God made us. But in these cases it doesn’t mean that someone will be in the boss and someone will be the slave, we are all born nothing and started in the same starting line but not the same acceleration to get the first one in finish line. But in General, equal rights and equal opportunities is the thing that we might can say we have similarities despite on our social, mental or physical aspects.

Act for Global Warming!

     We are God's  stewardship, we are the one responsible foe the welfare and taking good care of all the things that He given to us here on our existence period and most of all is to use for a good cost.

     He gave us all the things we needed,l all the things here in universe in a good condition so we give it back as the same condition as God given to us, but what happened? It is slowly but dangerously destroying and it is because of our own fault and self-interests. All we need to survive can give by mother earth, but sometimes we are getting too much on it that causes mother earth to have a revenge and it is terrible and unstoppable  when she do it for the too much abusing of man. Global warming is the result of our stubbornness and carelessness to help mother earth this is not good for our own risk.

     many trees and animals we've seen when we were born, freshness of water and air we experienced when we were young it is enjoying, but time passes that these things we've encountered will not be experiencing for the next generation. We are very lucky at present for we are enjoying these things but how about for the next caretakers of our beloved mother earth?

     Let us act now to save mother earth for destruction and not let the Global warming feed us.:)

Wanted: Change!!!!

We are not totally perfect. We are committing mistakes every day, whatever we make. Many things are trying to stop us or block in reaching our goals. But in times of challenges we fail, but the most important thing is to stand up and continue is to try to cope up.

Nobody is permanent in this world except for change. Change is for everybody.

We are changing for the better. The mistakes we made affects a lot for our lives. Just like me I am committing mistakes every day for my fellow man and I don’t know how make it right so I’d rather choose to change my bad attitudes not to make the hurt. I accidentally hurt their feelings because of some actions I did but I’ve tried to face the consequences on what I did. Even teachers we hurt their feelings for our curiosity on something for we did not know we are hurting them softly. I feel very sorry for what I’ve done for I promised to make some changes and adjustments my life and attitudes.

 I’d promise to myself to enjoy life and live life to the fullest and most especially make some necessary changes to my life. I must live freely without any doubt.

Things to remember!!

“Education is an admirable thing, but it is well to remember from time to time that nothing that is worth knowing can be taught.” Schooling is the best hobby but some wouldn’t agree with me and sometimes me too.

          The knowledge we’ve earned for so many years would last forever and no one could ever get it from our own. Every daywe are learning so many things that could be use daily.

          By the use of Blogger, we students are now expressing our feelings or inner thoughts and share to someone and we are enjoying this privilege of freedom to express our feelings not just in our country rather worldwide also. And for the people concerning our thoughts can easily give their necessary actions to solve these matters. Like HTML tagging in our TLE or ICT lesson are very useful in connecting to web for it is the language of the internet and a way to merge to someone in the internet. HTML tagging is one way of improving our post on the internet and makes it better. It is easy to bond with others.

Things I’ve learned in this grading period will be very useful and will be my basis for the next grading period.

CHEMERGY: CHEMISTRY AND SCIENCE CLUBBING IN SYNERGY

 We are now accelerating faster than a bullet for the future. Modernized and highly upgraded technologies to be used for the coming of next generations. Thanks to the great minds of those inventors because it makes our lives better. But sometimes it causes to trouble.

  We were trained to discover something new things are to expound it. Because of the tandem of Chemistry and Science clubbing we can attain the impossible to possible in just a snap. Oneness is the only way to reach these goals, oneness to make these things possible and with the aid of Chemistry. Chemistry is made for humans and science clubbing is for man. We must work double and work harder to save our mother earth that is in a big trouble because of our actions, inventions or highly technological gadgets is not enough to cure mother earth’s ill, yet our synergy is one of the way to solve it to live long with mother earth’s care. Propagate chemistry and science clubbing whole wide world to be always ready. Oneness, unity and synergy are the solution to reach in our goals.

INITIATING DIGITAL PROFICIENCY!

        Laptops, cell phone, digital camera, IPAD and many more is a sign of being modernized and advanced technologies of our present time. We are now being able to enhance our skills and knowledge about literacy and also to propagate things that could lead us to a brighter and lighter world.

        Gadgets are very useful especially for us students or youth nowadays, because of these we can communicate others, do our assigned duties, easy to make our school works and to entertain us as well. Because of those highly advanced technologies we can now promote literacy worldwide; we can now express our insights and feelings freely.

        English language is our tool to communicate to other neighbouring countries, we can enhance better our ability to write and talk by the aid of our books and gadgets. Many youth or student will now have the guts to enhance their English proficiency better and wider the scope. It is a sign also that all people could educate and how to use their skills in a better and useful way.

        Even if we are now promoting digital literacy that does not mean that we are going to forget all the things we’ve learned without the guide of technologies, yet it will be a back-up to attack the new world of digital literacy.

"MY TEACHER, MY HERO"

        HERO:A hero can do all things for the betterment of all. She/he is not Spiderman, Batman, Superman or even the hero we literally know but he/she is an ordinary person I know. He/she will do anything to give the bright future for every one of us; we will not be in our standing right now without their guidance, sacrifices, love, care, etc. without our beloved TEACHERS.

Like other students or youngsters, I have also a hero whom I idolize and keeping following her footsteps. She is the better than Spiderman or even Captain Barbell for every student like me to be our idol. She is the best I’ve ever known. Instead of fighting in the battlefield and carrying swords or guns I am always seeing her at school, carrying class records, chalk box, books and lesson plan, her destination is in the four corners of the classroom and ready to teach new things and be able to give the right path for her students. She is the teacher of Ilocos Sur National High School and a English Teacher. She is no other than Mrs. Myrna S. Cacal. She is not a terror or to be frightened by every student yet, she is a silent type but terrible in teaching and even inside the school in terms of studying her subject . She taught us to be independent, believe in ourselves and our capabilities, stand for the right, stand for our own feet and face those challenges that we may encounter without any fear instead give our best shot to solve it. Our third year life is the best year of being high school student because of the things we did with our teachers and classmates, they says we are the worst batch of III-Boyle but ma’am Cacal is there to fight for us and we were very thankful; of that.:). She serves as our second mom in school; she always giving us pieces of advices and it is very useful and applicable to our lives; she makes our high school life the BEST!!! Many times she scolded us but in every scold she did to us there is always a lesson which we picked up and stored to our pockets. She is the one responsible for our strong foundation, strong belief with of abilities and many more. The knowledge we gained from her incomparable teaching will lasts forever and ever ‘till our last breath take away and all the experiences throughout our journey will not be taken away by anyone.

Unstoppable thank you will be my replacement of your unending sacrifices for being so stubborn student, for the advices you gave to us for these will be our guide for the next stage or journey of our life. Thanks God for being there whatever happens and I am very proud to say to her that she is “MY TEACHER, MY HERO!!

PNoy's SONA

     Another year had gone on the administration of our President Noynoy Aquino III. Many platforms had been told to us by PNoy and he promised to do all of these these things as soon as possible.PNoy tackled on his first State of the Nation Address on July 25 of this year in front of his all supporters and all Filipinos hoping for hope that PNoy would give it to us for us to be raise up on the level hopeless citizen of Philippines.
     He talked to his SONA more on the "wang-wang" which he told that this one of the reason why Filipinos are becoming hopeless to change our lives its because of the people who are in top are abusing the one weaker and don't have the guts to fight back. He tackled also the negatives things that are affecting so much the Filipinos like the giving of cars to the member of the high council of the Roman Catholic, issue of the overpricing of the coffee and most commonly is the unending issue on the Corruption. We are looking for the better solution of these matter.
     But PNoy proudly present also the good things that his administration did on his first term as the President. Like the increasing the economic rate of our country for the our country will be benefited much. Because of the rapidly increasing our economic, many tourists will come and invest, many jobs are already ready for the Filipinos. Many Filipinos will now experience the fruit which were PNoy planted for our betterment and development and  Filipinos will take the right path through our dreamed paradise.
     SONA is very important, for us to know the situation of our country, the development and the future plans of PNoy. We are expecting that Pnoy will have his SONA will be broad and wise.
   

Dear Mr. President,

       As our boss of this Republic you have the right position to rule this country and you have the power. Sir, we are still waiting for you act and do what you've promise to all Filipinos to make this country a better to stay with.Mr. President we are humbly appealing to you to please help us to reach our goals in life.

      Insufficient number of classrooms is the  number one concern of every students like me.Because of that the credibility of education of every students will fall for they are having lack of interests to study for their students are not comfortable. Moreover, the number of students in a classroom cannot hold the number of students to the actual number of children to fit in in the classroom. Second, using of students a cigarettes inside the campus. Many students are influenced by their superior to use cigarettes even in school especially boys. This is signifying the  lack of  security of the school and lack of parent guidance, so Mr. President please make some action of this alarming case for the youngsters are taking the wrong path. And lastly this is for the environment, our environment is now getting more dirty and polluted because of our illegal doings. Our trees, rivers , etc are now getting ruined. And please Mr. President kindly sharpen the teeth of our law regarding to our environmental law. Seek for the better solution of these matters. Thanks.

"Isulong ang Breastfeeding: Tama, Sapat at Eksklusibo"

     Breastfeeding plays a very important thing especially for babies for their body needs and growth and development as well, it is because it can give the full sets of vitamins and nutrients for babies needs.

     Many commercial milks are coming out to the public, advertising and convincing the consumers to buy their products and they are telling that it is nutritious and full of vitamins contained. We didn't know know the contents or chemicals mixed to the commercial milks to become more nutritious in physical appearance and as well as for

the taste. But no one can beat the nutrients and vitamins that the milk coming from mommies. It is very much recommended by the doctors that every child take natural milk from their mommies. Breastfeeding is very safe for all babies. Most of  the commercial milks came from animals, can you drink a milk coming from animals?Mother's milk is for babies or humans and animal's milk is for their same species only not for humans.

     Let us be one to make breastfeeding be a hobby of every mother world wide to give their babies a full of vitamins and delicious milk coming from them and to advertise how importance of giving breastfeeding to all babies.
